Restorations hail from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and are set to release their first record, “Of Trees/Frankford” anytime in the next month on the wonderful Evil Weevil Records (They’ve also done a release for Everyone, Everywhere and soon a split with Bob Nanna & Into It. Over It).

Both tracks were recorded and mixed by Joe Reinhart (of Algernon Cadwallader) earlier this year, although don’t expect it to sound anything like Algernon. Instead we have two slices of gruff indie rock with a light twinge of Springsteen thrown in for good measure.

Anyway the band have been kind enough to allow me the streaming of both tracks here, so give it a go and if you enjoy it, order the 7″ from Evil Weevil Records.
